ArchiTwin Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "our company") provided photography and content editing support for "Record-RING," a digital archive project launched by Tobata-Azusa Sekkei Joint Venture and Azusa Research Institute Ltd. to pass on the large roof ring of the Osaka-Kansai Expo to future generations.
This project utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as "3DGS (3D Gaussian Splatting)" to recreate and preserve the appearance of the large roof ring, the atmosphere of the site, and the changing light in a digital space. Our company was responsible for data acquisition, including aerial photography and 3D scanning, as well as content construction and editing, providing technical support for the creation of a high-precision digital archive.
The recreated roof ring is available for free viewing on a special website. Please enjoy this virtual experience in the digital space.
