Notice of ArchiTwin Basic system failure and response status

2024.12.27

Dear customers

Thank you for using ArchiTwin.

We have confirmed that a part of our system has been subject to unauthorized access from an external source, resulting in some data being encrypted and not being displayed on the platform. We are taking the following measures regarding this matter.

Current situation and response

We are currently resetting all passwords and access keys for the affected servers.
We are currently in the process of migrating data to a new environment.
We aim to complete the complete data migration for ArchiTwin Basic (https://basic.archi-twin.com/) by December 12th of this year.

We are currently working with a specialized security team to determine the cause and consider measures to prevent recurrence.
Additionally, we are working with AWS' technical support team to ensure a speedy recovery.
We are currently in negotiations with a specialist team to recover the encrypted data, but the estimated time for recovery is currently unknown.

Many of our basic services will continue to be available, however some functionality may be temporarily restricted.
As a temporary measure, for objects that are currently not displayed, you can re-upload the objects from the 3D library in the management screen to restore their display in the space.

Upcoming

We will report back on the status of our response by December 12st this year.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern this has caused our customers. We are taking every possible measure to ensure that you can use our services with peace of mind, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
